FINE ART

Raised outside New York City, Scotts influences and exposure began shaping his aesthetic at an early age. He attended the prestigious, Rhode island School of Design where he graduated with a degree in fine art and with a focus on furniture design. Upon graduating RISD, he made the pilgrimage back to NYC where he designed and developed retail spaces for dominating brands like Nike, Donna Karen and Nordstroms.

Realizing that he wanted to create his own brand, Scott moved to St Petersburg Fl in 2001 and shortly after opened T2theS, a millwork company with a focus on maintaining intent through the highest level of craft. His passion for fine art, fueled by his outside the box thinking quickly made T2theS a well respected, award winning company.

After 20 years of making sawdust for someone else, Scott’s team took the wheel while he was able to rekindle the fire that got him here. SAFDS is a studio dedicated to Scotts exploration back into fine art, sharing his passions and bound by the idea of collaboration. With 20 years dedicated to exacting dimensionality and precision, SAFDS is a place for Scott to paint outside the lines. His work ranges from paintings to furniture, sculpture to lighting with a commitment to detail, craft and intrinsic value.
